Foam Insulation Ranks BEST Among Experts

Written by Greg Pruitt on . Posted in blog

Rock-Crete Foam insulators has been in business 10 years, in the early days we had to convince everyone that foam was the best, now many people understand that and want it, some are talked out of it by builders that are unknowledgeable about it, and don’t want to take the time to find out. Just too old to learn a new trick, LOL! What is interesting is that Johns Mansville, a large fiberglass insulation manufacturer finally decided to get into the foam insulation market, and purchased a Foam manufacturer. Now they have they changed their tune, Good, Better and Best! And guess what, Foam is what they recommend as Best! Even the fiberglass companies now admit that what they had been telling people was wrong all along. Foam is simply the best! So if you want honest answers about foam insulation from Bryan or College Station or 100 miles of here, Rock-Crete Foam insulators is the place to call. We specialize in Spray Foam, but also offer rock wool, Cellulose and Fiberglass. Guess what? That is the order of quality. You choose and we will install. You can choose the best up front with the lower utility bills, or a hybrid, cellulose in the walls and foam in the roof, or you can have us come back much later, and we will retrofit your attic for foam insulation and still usually give you over a 30% savings!

24,000sf Church Saves Big on Utilities

Last year I talked with Second Baptist Church of Huntsville about the nearly 12,000 sq. foot addition they were doing that would house their day care. This building had 16’ high walls, which makes it basically 24,000 sq. feet heated. We discussed spray foam insulation and dropping the tonnage. We went from 44 tons of air down to 30 tons. A major savings which helped with the upgrade to foam! Results,… a year later, the highest bill $500.00 and that was in August. Contact me, Greg Pruitt, I have been doing this longer than anyone in this region, and am the “go to” person when it comes to insulation and air conditioning. There is no better system on the market! Foam insulation works and it is usually not that expensive. Please call us preferably in the design process so that we can get you started right and get those construction savings in the project which helps offset the cost of the bet insulation.

Efficiency & Advancement

Foam insulation seals the building envelope against airborne pollutants like; dust, allergens, odors and other pollutants. Foam insulation allows air management to be designed so that the indoor air quality is actually healthier than outside air.

Comfort & Savings

With foam insulation, we can reduce the heating/cooling needs by about 70 percent on a new home, and approximately 30 percent or more on an existing home. Foam, when applied, seals off every nook and cranny while fiberglass cannot.

Environmentally Friendly

Foam insulation is environmentally friendly. It contains no ozone-destroying chemicals and its high efficiency enables buildings to be heated or cooled with the least possible consumption of the natural resources required to produce energy.
